Real-time monitoring of Indoor Air - Special Session at Indoor Air 2016

March 22, 2016

Together with its partner project IAQSense, the SENSIndoor consortium will host a special session during the upcoming Indoor Air conference

The symposium with the title “Changing the game in the management of Indoor Air Quality – Real time monitoring for improved health, comfort and energy efficiency” aims at increasing the awareness of novel low-cost sensor solutions for Indoor Air Quality, especially for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The session will discuss key contaminants relevant for indoor air quality assessment and solutions to their reduction to achieve healthy buildings. Six short presentations from highly recognized scientists and leading industrial players will put emphasis on new developments for VOC sensors developed within the two European projects and their impact on indoor air quality monitoring and improvement.

The 14th international conference of Indoor Air Quality and Climate will be held in Ghent, Belgium, from July 3rd - 8th 2016. The program will be multi-disciplinary, including workshops, interactive poster sessions, short courses and social media discussions. Early bird registration for the conference ends April 1st, 2016.
