The SENSIndoor Consortium Members in Brussels

Almost exactly 2 years after the project’s kick-off, SENSIndoor coordinator Andreas Schütze of Saarland University welcomed the consortium to the 4th Progress Meeting in Brussels. The meeting was kindly hosted by the Directorate General Research and Innovation of the European Commission, since the meeting also served as a project review by the EC.

The two day meeting was tightly packed and dedicated to present, discuss and evaluate the work progress achieved to date.

The development of the nanotechnology based sensor systems to monitor indoor air quality has advanced considerably and will now soon be ready to be field tested. Looking into the priorities of the final project year, test requirements, sites and timeline have been discussed as well as dissemination and exploitation of the results generated within SENSIndoor. One opportunity to share these results was even confirmed during the meeting: SENSIndoor partners will present several talks in a joint session at the EuroSensors on 07 September 2016 in Budapest.
