Sensor Solutions for Indoor Air Monitoring at the SENSOR + Test 2016

April 08, 2016

The upcoming SENSOR+TEST 2016 will be an excellent opportunity to meet partners from three application-oriented research projects, namely MSP and IAQSense and SENSIndoor. The projects will present a joint exhibition at the measurement fair, to be found in hall 5 on booth number 5-441.

Like SENSIndoor, MSP and IAQSense are EU-funded project consortia consisting of various public research institutions and industrial partners with the aim to develop new nanotechnology based sensor systems that will allow to monitor Indoor Air Quality at low cost.

On the basis of hardware samples and demonstrations, visitors will be able to discuss with the researchers about existing and novel solutions of indoor air quality monitoring as an important application field for health and energy efficiency.

The exhibition also represents the COST Action TD1105 – EuNetAir (European Network on New Sensing Technologies for Air-Pollution Control and Environmental Sustainability) and the European Cluster on Sensor Systems (ESSC) and will provide information on these two initiatives.

Interested visitors should also not miss the joint special session of the three projects on Thursday, May 12, 10 a.m.: “Novel Sensor Solutions for Indoor Air Quality – Real time monitoring for improved health, comfort and energy efficiency”. The aim of the session is to increase the awareness of novel low-cost sensor solutions for indoor air quality and the importance of the latter for good health. Session details can be found here.

The SENSOR+TEST 2016 takes place in Nürnberg, Germany, from May 10th- 12th 2016. It is a platform for innovation and dialog between between researchers, suppliers and users in sensor and measurement technology from all major industries.
